As of January 1, 2022, in all categories of farms in the Jizzakh region, the total number of cattle amounted to 918.0 thousand heads (101.4% compared to January 1, 2021), of which 258.8 thousand heads are cows ( 101.8%), sheep and goats - 2,252.4 thousand heads (101.6%), horses - 27.7 thousand heads (99.3%) and birds - 3,456.5 thousand heads (95 ,one %).
