On March 15 this year, the State Committee on Statistics hosted a round table on countering religious extremism and terrorism on the topic “The Religion of Islam against Terrorism”.
The event was organized by the Republican Center for Spirituality and Education jointly with the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers.
The following topics were presented at the event: “True goals and activities of religious extremist organizations”, “Practice and tasks of countering religious extremism and terrorism”, “Islam condemns extremism and terrorism”.
At the event, employees of the central office of the committee received exhaustive answers from specialists to questions on this topic.
