At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Andijan region amounted to 8,821.8 billion soums and there was a decrease in volume in comparable prices, which amounted to 98.6% compared to the level of 2020 compared to the previous year. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 20.7% and, compared to 2017, increased by 6.8 percentage points.
