At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Samarkand region amounted to 7,789.8 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 10.8%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 14.8% and, compared to 2017, increased by 2.4 percentage points.
