At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Syrdarya region amounted to 3,634.5 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 18.5%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 24.0% and, compared to 2017, increased by 4.2 percentage points.
