At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Tashkent region amounted to 38,650.8 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 12.6%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 48.9% and, compared to 2017, increased by 16.0 percentage points.
