At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in the Khorezm region amounted to 3,459.1 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 17.2%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 13.3% and, compared to 2017, increased by 2.0 percentage points.
