In January-December 2021, 173,866 tons of fish were caught in the republic, this figure compared to the corresponding period in 2020 amounted to 120.7%.
The largest volume of fish caught was recorded in organizations engaged in agricultural activities - 82,193 tons, or 47.3% of the total volume of its production, on the contrary, low volumes were observed in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 10,091 tons (5.8%) .
