At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Samarkand region amounted to 3,137.2 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 15.2%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 6.0% and increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous year, and by 2.0 percentage points compared to 2017.
