At the end of 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in construction in the Surkhandarya region amounted to 2,549.9 billion soums and, compared to 2020, increased by 12.8%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 8.7% and increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous year, and by 2.9 percentage points compared to 2017.
