In order to determine and communicate to the general public the “Openness Index” of state bodies, a working group under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan monitored the activities of all state authorities and administration throughout the republic.
In the “Openness index” of the activities of state bodies in 2021, the indicators of the State Committee on Statistics were rated at a high level – 88,9 points and ranked third among ministries and departments.
During the monitoring, the activities of 24 ministries, 13 committees, 25 agencies, 9 centers and 14 local khokimiyats in 2021 were studied.
When determining the “openness index”, the activities of organizations and departments were evaluated in the following main areas:
- Activities of the head of the organization;
- Activities of the information service;
– Functioning of the official web page and social networks;
