According to the results of January-March 2022, the GRP of the Republic of Karakalpakstan increased by 3.7% and amounted to 5,689.2 billion soums. GRP growth is due to positive growth rates in the main sectors of the region's economy, such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 101.2% (share in the GRP structure - 12.4%), industry - 101.8% (33.4%), construction - 101.0% (8.4%) and services - 106.2% (45.8%). GRP per capita increased by 2.3% and amounted to 2,914.4 thousand soums.
