As of April 1, 2022, in all categories of farms in the region:
cattle - 996.7 thousand heads
sheep and goats - 2,467.1 thousand heads
horses - 15 152 heads
poultry - 5,283.1 thousand heads.
In January-March 2022, the region produced 35.2 thousand tons of meat in live weight, 140.1 thousand tons of milk, 106.7 million eggs.
