According to the results of January-March 2022, the GRP of the Tashkent region amounted to 18,884.2 billion soums with an increase of 8.1%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.2% (share in the GRP structure - 13.3%), industry - 109.6% (54.1%), construction - 105.0% (5.7%) and the service sector - 108.4% (26.9%). Compared with January-March 2021, GRP per capita in real terms increased by 9.4% and amounted to 6,407.7 thousand soums.
