At the end of 2020, a total of 313.4 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers were produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The highest figure for the last 5 years for the production of these products was recorded in 2017, that is, 565.4 thousand tons.
In particular:
2016 – 509.6 thousand tons, growth rate 106.8%;
2017 – 565.4 thousand tons, growth rate 111.1%;
2018 – 397.2 thousand tons, growth rate 70.3%;
2019 – 362.6 thousand tons, growth rate 91.3%;
2020 – 313.4 thousand tons, growth rate 86.4%.
In addition, the main share of mineral fertilizers produced in 2017 falls on the Tashkent region (267.3 thousand tons, 47.3%).
According to preliminary data, in 2021, large enterprises produced 284.8 thousand tons, and in January-April 2022, large enterprises produced 110.3 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers.
