The main part of the cattle population was observed in dekhkan (personal subsidiary) farms - 12,265.4 thousand heads, or 92.1% of the total population.
A significant share of the total number of cattle falls on the Kashkadarya region (12.4%). At the same time, an increase in the number of cattle was recorded in Samarkand (12.1%), Bukhara (9.6%) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (8.7%).
