According to the results of January - March 2022, the gross value added (GVA) in agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the Samarkand region amounted to 2,489.0 billion soums and, compared to January - March 2021, increased by 1.9%. In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP reached 25.5% and, compared to the same period in 2018, decreased by 2.2 percentage points.
