As of January 1, 2022, in all categories of farms, the number of sheep of Karakul breeds amounted to 6,060 thousand heads.
The largest share of the total number of sheep of Karakul breeds among the regions belongs to the Bukhara region (32.5%). Also, a significant proportion was noted in Kashkadarya (26.0%) and Navoi (24.9%) regions.
