In January-March 2022, a total of 1.6 trillion soums of investment in fixed assets was disbursed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period in 2021. In the structure of these investments, foreign investments and loans amounted to 431.7 billion soums, of which 74.8 billion soums were foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan, 356.9 billion soums were foreign direct investments and loans.
