The Department of Statistics of Andijan region hosted a seminar on the topic: "Preparation for the population census."
The seminar provided information on the work carried out in pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 710 dated November 11, 2020 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”.
Also, at the seminar, the organizational and methodological principles of conducting a population census, approbation of software and hardware and technological processes of data processing were considered.
Representatives of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics spoke in detail about the work done to date in preparation for the population census, as well as about the tasks that need to be implemented in the future.
