As previously reported, since July 1 of this year, population census departments have been established in all regions (cities and districts) of the republic. For the heads and deputies of these departments, who are appointed directly responsible within their regions for the preparation and conduct of the census processes conducted in the country in 2023, the territorial statistical offices conduct training seminars on the organization of preparation for the census processes in online and offline formats.
Sh. Dusnaev, Deputy Head of the Department for Organizing and Conducting Registration Processes of the State Committee on Statistics, organized a seminar on the organization of special training for employees (registrars) involved in compiling lists of housing in the Department of Statistics of the Fergana region. It was attended by the heads of all city and district census departments and their deputies, who were explained all aspects of the process, from the selection of registrars to the explanation of theoretical and practical skills for their task.
In particular, mapping of territories, compiling lists of houses in settlements is one of the main stages of preparation for the population census. Complete and high-quality performance of this task, in turn, creates the basis for effective registration work. The training workshop highlighted the responsibilities and responsibilities of the census departments in the thorough preparation for the census process.
