On August 5, 2022, the State Statistics Committee organized a webinar for the statistical offices of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent.
The event was attended by responsible persons of territorial statistical bodies consisting of heads of departments, representatives of the information service, accounting and financial work department, as well as the Center for Software and Hardware Support and Data Storage.
The following issues were discussed at the event:
- Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 16, 2021 No. UP-6247 “on additional measures to ensure the openness of the activities of state bodies and organizations, as well as the effective implementation of public control” and Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 14, 2022 No. UP-154 “On measures to introduce a system to improve and assess the level of openness of activities state bodies and organizations ".
-Resolution No. 47 of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on information policy and ensuring openness in state bodies dated July 5, 2022 “on hearing information from the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics on the state of work carried out by state bodies and organizations on the correct maintenance of statistical information”
-The essence and content of the Regulation “on the procedure for posting information on official websites in order to ensure the openness of the budget process", registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 3299 dated May 7, 2021
