According to the results of January-June 2022, the GRP of the Republic of Karakalpakstan increased by 3.5% and amounted to 13,051.2 billion soums. GRP growth is due to positive growth rates in the main sectors of the region's economy, such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 103.2% (share in the GRP structure - 18.2%), industry - 100.5% (29.7%) , construction - 105.6% (9.5%) and services - 105.5% (42.6%). GRP per capita increased by 2.1% and amounted to 6,674.4 thousand soums.
