According to the State Statistics Committee, at the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 808.4 thousand students study in higher educational institutions operating in the republic.
The largest number of students in the fields of knowledge are trained in the humanities and amount to 379.4 thousand people, of which 251.4 thousand people study in the sub-field of knowledge of pedagogy, which is 31.1% of the total number of students.
