In January-June 2022, a total of 35.9 million tons of main types of cargo were transported by mainline railway transport in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and compared to the corresponding period last year, the volume of cargo transportation increased by 1.9%.
In January-June 2022, potatoes, vegetables and fruits showed the highest growth rates (by 1.8 times) by type of cargo sent by public rail transport compared to the same period in 2021.
