According to the results of January-June 2022, the gross domestic product per capita in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 10,994.9 thousand soums and increased by 3.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
High volumes of gross regional product (GRP) per capita were noted in Navoi region (30,943.0 thousand soums), Tashkent city (23,806.6 thousand soums) and Tashkent region (14,538.7 thousand soums). The smallest volumes of GRP per capita were observed in Surkhandarya (5,790.8 thousand soums), Namangan (5,847.8 thousand soums) and Samarkand (6,154.5 thousand soums) regions.
In the current period, high growth rates of GRP per capita were recorded in Tashkent (107.4%), Andijan (106.2%) and Khorezm (104.4%) regions. At the same time, in the city of Tashkent (101.4%) and Surkhandarya region (101.8%), the growth rate of GRP per capita was below the Republican level (103.3%).
