According to the results of January-June 2022, the volume of GRP of Samarkand region amounted to 24,927.6 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 5.1%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 102.1% (share in the GRP structure - 32.4%), industry - 108.7% (18.1%), construction - 108.4 % (7.4%) and services - 105.2% (42.1%). GRP per capita increased by 2.9% and amounted to 6,154.5 thousand soums.
