According to the results of January-June 2022, the volume of GRP of the Tashkent region amounted to 42,905.1 billion soums and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 6.1%. In this region, positive growth rates were noted in the sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 101.1% (share in the GRP structure - 19.5%), industry - 107.2% (49.3%), construction - 110.6 % (5.9%) and services - 107.0% (25.3%). GRP per capita increased by 7.4% and amounted to 14,538.7 thousand soums.
