According to the State Committee on Statistics, as of January-September 2022, in the Bukhara region, 70.9% of households have children under 16 years old.
Of them:
- with one child - 22.5%;
- with two children - 27.0%;
- with three children - 16.4%;
- having four or more children - 5.0%.
According to the survey, 29.1% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
