In the Republic of Uzbekistan in August 2022, large industrial enterprises produced 948.8 million pieces of tobacco products.
Also, in January-August of the current year, large enterprises produced 7,450.4 million pieces of tobacco products, the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 amounted to 117.6%.
In January-August 2022, the largest share of tobacco production by large enterprises fell on the share of Samarkand region (81.7%), the production volume amounted to 6,084.1 thousand tons.
