In January-June 2022, 38 secondary schools were put into operation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, designed for 9.8 thousand student places worth 123.1 billion soums.
It should be noted that 55.5% of the total number of general education schools put into operation or general education schools for 5.5 thousand student places were put into operation in rural areas.
