According to the State Statistics Committee, as of January-September 2022, in the Samarkand region, 78.1% of households have children under 16 years old.
Of them:
- with one child - 22.6%;
- with two children - 26.8%;
- with three children - 20.0%;
- having four or more children - 8.7%.
According to the survey, 21.9% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
