In 2021, the number of small businesses and micro-enterprises led by women entrepreneurs was 36,472 (or 11.3% of the total). Most of the regions account for the city of Tashkent (9,764), Tashkent region (4,760), Samarkand region (2,974) and Navoi region (2,544).
