An expert group meeting on migration statistics is currently taking place in Geneva, Switzerland.
The event is organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, it is planned to be attended by representatives of state and non-governmental organizations, including statistical bodies, international experts, as well as representatives of the offices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
This meeting is attended by the head of the Department of Demography and Labor Statistics Yuldashev Zoyir Toshkanovich.
The main goal of the event is to study the experience of countries in maintaining migration statistics, in particular, innovative practices in the use of administrative data, observed problems and their solutions.
