On November 10, 2022, the State Committee on Statistics organized a round table at the Tashkent State Transport University.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics, the leadership of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research, faculty, researchers and masters of the Tashkent State Transport University.
At the event, the head of the Department of Macroeconomic Indicators and National Accounts of the State Committee on Statistics Abrorali Mamadjanov made a presentation on the topic: “Economic and statistical analysis of macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The presentation provided information on the five-year dynamics of macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan, growth rates and factors affecting it.
Also at the event, the head of the Service Sector Statistics Department, Abdugafir Mirzahidov, made a report on the statistics of the transport sector. Representatives of the university received answers to their questions from experts in the form of a direct open dialogue.
As a result of the round table, an agreement was reached with the Tashkent State Transport University to hold such events on a regular basis, as well as to organize practical classes for students. The issue of signing a memorandum with the university was also considered.
The specialists of the State Committee on Statistics answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the round table.
