On December 2, 2022, the State Committee on Statistics organized a round table at Westminster International University in Tashkent.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the State Committee on Statistics, the leadership of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research, faculty, researchers and masters of Westminster International University in Tashkent.
At the event, the head of the Department of Statistics of Foreign Economic Activity and Trade of the State Committee on Statistics Irgashev Batir Samarovich made a presentation on the topic: "Formation of consolidated analytical data on statistics of foreign and domestic trade in the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The presentation provided information on the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan, the main partner countries in foreign economic activity, as well as on the export-import issues they are implementing.
As a result of the round table, an agreement was reached on the regular holding of such events and the further strengthening of cooperation with scientific researchers working at the university.
The issue of signing a memorandum with the university was also considered.
The specialists of the State Committee on Statistics answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the round table.
