As of July 1, 2023, the sown area of melons in the republic amounted to 72.2 thousand hectares.
The analysis of the total acreage of melons by categories of farms showed that 50.9% of their area falls on farms, 40.6% - on dehkan and subsidiary farms, 8.5% - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
