As of October 1, 2023, the number of cattle in all categories of farms in the republic reached 13.9 million heads and increased by 2.0% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
Analyzes by farm category show that 91.3% of the total number of cattle belongs to dehkan and subsidiary farms, 7.0% to private farms, and 1.7% to organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
