An event dedicated to the activities of the Primary Organization on Women’s Issues and its role in women’s lives was organized in the statistics departments of Samarkand and Syrdarya regions.
The purpose of the event is to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined by paragraph 21 of the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 7, 2022 No. PF-87 “On measures to further accelerate work on systemic support for families and women.”
In particular, detailed information was provided on issues such as ensuring cancer screening of women, monitoring the implementation of cancer screening of women in the regions by the Primary Organization for Women's Issues.
The event was attended by the Head of the Human Resources Department at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the women's organization Zulhumor Talipova.
The participants exchanged views on the comprehensive support of women workers, improvement of their socio-economic status and working conditions by the primary organization on women's issues created in the territorial administration.
Recommendations were also given to pay attention to women’s health, hold sports competitions among them, and organize events aimed at increasing morale.
