As of October 1, 2023, the number of horses in all categories of farms in the republic reached 271.8 thousand heads and increased by 2.9% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
Analyzes by farm category show that 71.6% of the total number of horses belongs to dehkan and subsidiary farms, 22.7% to private farms, and 5.7% to organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
