On November 24, 2023, the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “National strategy for the development of statistics: priority tasks, their implementation and prospects.”
The conference was attended by the leadership of the Statistics Agency, representatives of various ministries and departments of the country, teachers of research institutes and higher educational institutions, and independent researchers.
Representatives of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Southern Federal University of Rostov-on-Don, Ural State Economic University, Esil University of Astana Kazakhstan, Tajik National University, Tajik Mining and Metallurgical Institute, National University of the Kyrgyz Republic also took part online. The purpose of this international scientific and practical conference is to identify both theoretical, methodological and practical problems in statistics and to develop proposals and recommendations for solving them.
The conference was attended by the Director of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Begalov Bahadir Abdusalomovich, Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies of Personnel and Statistical Research, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Gayibnazarov Bahadir Karimovich, Professor of the Department of “Management Sciences” of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Kabilov Sharif Rakhimovich.

The scientific and practical conference continued in industry areas. In it, participants were presented with information in such areas as theoretical and methodological aspects of research into the development of statistical science, and current problems of macroeconomic statistics.
