On November 30 of this year, the second global forum on inter-parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals was held in the capital.
The Forum was attended by heads of interparliamentary organizations and parliaments of many countries of the world, parliamentary friendship groups, international organizations, leading experts and specialists, representatives of civil society institutions, representatives of the media, both live and online.
Representatives of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan also take an active part in this prestigious event.
During the forum, issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, improving legislation in the implementation of national goals and objectives, and strengthening parliamentary control mechanisms were discussed.
