On November 28-29 in Moscow, Russia, the Russian Association of Statisticians, the CIS Statistical Committee, and the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University organized an international conference.
The international conference on the topic “Long-term trends in changes in the standard of living of the population of Russia and the CIS countries” was attended by representatives of statistical departments of the CIS countries, employees of the CIS Statistical Committee and specialists from the education system.
Our country was represented by the first deputy director of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Statistical Research of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Botir Eshboevich Turaev, and the head of the information service of the Statistics Agency - press secretary of the director, adviser on information policy issues, Usmon Rustamovich Abdurasulov.
During the conference, experts exchanged views on the study of archival and other statistical data, and further expansion of cooperation between statistical agencies of the CIS countries.
The conference also provided information on the development of foreign experience in the field of statistics development, the expansion of theoretical and practical knowledge in the system, and the effective use of advanced techniques in statistical activities.
