In January-September 2023, the republic produced 2,042.9 thousand tons of meat (in live weight), this figure compared to the corresponding period in 2022 was 103.5 %.
The largest volume of meat production (in live weight) was recorded in dehkan and subsidiary farms - 1,779.0 thousand tons, or 87.1 % of the total volume of production; on the contrary, low volumes were observed in farms - 117.9 thousand tons (5.8 %).
