In January-September 2023, about 8.6 million tons of milk were produced in the republic.
This figure for the corresponding period in 2022 was 103.5 %.
The largest volume of milk production was recorded in dekhkan and subsidiary farms - 7,955.2 thousand tons, or 92.7% of the total volume of production; on the contrary, low volumes were observed in organizations engaged in agricultural activities - 101.0 thousand tons ( 1.2 %).
