On December 7 of this year, a festive event dedicated to December 8, the Day of Adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by employees of the Agency's central office.
The content of the updated constitution, newly added articles and norms were discussed at the event.
Participants of the event were provided with information that the updated constitution consists of 6 sections, 27 chapters, 155 articles, as well as newly added articles and norms.
In particular, the personal rights and freedoms established in the recently added articles were examined in detail.
The participants also exchanged views on the main priority areas of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy.
At the end of the event, participants received detailed answers to their questions.
