The Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an open dialogue with the participation of students from the Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent.
Deputy Director of the Agency of Statistics Zohijon Ziyaev provided students with detailed information about the information systems and electronic information resources of the Agency, as well as about the stages and processes of forming statistical indicators.
During an open dialogue, experts from the Statistics Agency gave detailed answers to students’ questions regarding gross domestic product, foreign trade, cooperation of statistical departments with international organizations, statistical analysis, openness and transparency, which will be needed in scientific work.
As part of the event, a “Memorandum” on bilateral cooperation was signed.
Students who actively participated in the open dialogue were awarded vouchers worth 500 thousand soums and statistical collections.
