As of January 1, 2023, the camel population in all categories of farms amounted to 19.9 thousand heads.
The largest share of the total camel population among the regions belongs to the Navoi region (45.7 %).
Also, a significant share was noted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (22.1 %), Bukhara (12.2 %) and Kashkadara (8.3 %) regions.
