On December 22 of this year, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an information and propaganda event dedicated to the essence of the Laws "On Official Statistics" and "On appeals of individuals and legal entities".
It was attended by employees of the agency's Central Office.
During the event, leading lawyer Orifjon Soliev spoke in detail about the essence of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Official Statistics" and the work carried out in this direction.
As noted, the purpose of this law is to regulate relations in the field of official statistics. The powers and tasks of the agency established by law in the field of official statistics were also discussed.
In particular, he drew the attention of employees to article 27 of this law, which provides for individual data available to producers of official statistics to be used exclusively for statistical purposes to generate consolidated statistical data.
Also, according to the law,individual data may not be used by state bodies, citizens' self-government bodies, or other organizations, including international organizations, for purposes of investigation, control, judicial proceedings, administrative decisions, or for other purposes concerning individuals or legal entities or households.
