The number of students studying in higher educational institutions of Tashkent city, by year, is as follows:
at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year, 185,512 people;
at the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year, 271,182 people;
at the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, 354,023 people.
